NCI is not adding new sites to the NCCCP network at this time If new opportunities arise for extending the network, an open competition will be held via a request for proposals. The RFP will be published on FedBizOpps (https://www.fbo.gov/), posted to this website, broadcast to the RSS feed (which has an email option), and distributed through other mechanisms in an effort to inform the largest number of possible candidates for participation in the program. NCI adds 14 new sites to the NCCCP network. With stimulus funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, the NCCCP expanded from 16 hospitals to 30 hospitals in 2010. The 30 NCCCP sites are located in 22 states. Progress from the Program NCI launched the NCCCP in 2007 to explore the best methods to provide patients with access to advanced cancer treatments and early-phase clinical trials at community hospitals.
